Each business and website is different; the investment could be above or below the amounts detailed below. The following is an example.

Hosting - one time $50 setup fee and $100 per year
     The setup fee includes the first year's domain registration
     however $10 for each additional year is required for domain
     name renewal.  This includes 25 Mbs of space and 5 e-mail
     address.

Design - a web site could range from $500-$800,
     depending on what you want and how much
     graphic work it requires.

Maintenance - $40 per hour
     This is billed in 15 minute intervals. So, if you only have a few
     changes that take 10 minutes, you will only be charged
     $10.  

     Monthly maintenance fees can be established as well if it
     better meets your needs.
